IMPORTANT TRAFFIC INFORMATION
Barnswood have asked all parents to NOT TURN RIGHT in and out of Barnswood at any time.
(Go around the long way, from Leek side to stay on the left lane towards Barnswood – Check map below)
It is essential that car sharing is used as much as possible, including adult volunteers, to minimise the number of vehicles being managed. Use hazards if there is a queue on the public road.
Drivers MUST NOT leave their vehicle unattended at drop off and pick up, and must be conscious that there is very little time allowance for dropping off.

500+ Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to attend JOTI this year at Barnswood Scout Camp. JOTA-JOTI is counted as an Internal Camp and event as it is the world’s largest digital and radio Scout event, organised by the World Organisation of the Scout Movement (WOSM) that are run by local districts like Macclesfield and Congleton District. It takes place online and over the airwaves, promoting friendship and global citizenship among Scouts from around the globe. 8th Macclesfield Scouts are going to represent Poland
BEAVERS Day
Saturday 8:30 – 17:30
Are invited to join in for activities and Beaver Camp fire on Saturday 18th October. Please bring packed lunch.

TRAVEL
Everyone to be dropped off at Barnswood for the arranged times.
Friday Drop-Off – 18:00 (Parents stay in cars)
Saturday – Beavers 08:00 – 17:30
Sunday Pickup – 14:30 (Parents stay in cars)
Cubs, Scouts – Please eat a meal (tea/dinner) before arrival.
Arrive in uniform and neckers are mandatory for camp
No parents are allowed to enter the Scout camp at any time.
COSTS
£55 for a full weekend of camping and activities for Cubs and Scouts. Camp includes meals, event costs, badges and maintenance fund for everyone attending.
£10 per Beaver for Saturday activities only. Bring a packed lunch. Include activity badges and snacks, and drink for lunch.
